Frankie Manning Interview, Aged 94

A short magazine interview with Frankie Manning, made in 2008 when he was 94 and still swing dancing. He looks back on a life that ran from the ballrooms of Harlem to Hollywood films and, late in life, to teaching a new generation at Herräng in Sweden. It is a gentle, moving portrait recorded only months before his death in 2009, and a reminder of how much of today's worldwide scene, including the UK's, traces back to one generous teacher.
