ILHC 2013 Invitational Strictly Lindy Hop
The Invitational Strictly Lindy Hop finals at ILHC 2013, where invited top dancers perform in a strictly social format to music they have not heard before. Strictly competition rewards improvisation, partnership and musical response, so it is where genuine dance skill shows. Watch for how couples handle surprise tempos and breaks, and the contrast between visually bold and quietly musical approaches. A strong overview of what the best dancers were doing at the time.
