ILHC 2013 Solo Charleston Finals
The Solo Charleston finals at ILHC 2013. Solo contests at ILHC attract highly skilled dancers who combine vintage Charleston steps with invention. Watch the precision of the kicks, the use of rhythm and the way individual character shows through. Great for seeing how the 1920s dance still evolves in a modern swing setting. It is a good clip to watch alongside the other solo videos here, to see how the same vernacular steps are reworked from one competitor to the next.
