About The Jive Aces
The Jive Aces bill themselves as the UK's number one jive and swing band, and their East Grinstead-based website lists six members. Their sound mixes Americana, blues, jazz and rockabilly with swing, and the site carries pages for Summertime Swing and The Big Jive All-Dayer, two events associated with the band, though it gives no detail on either. They also appear to work as a touring show band rather than solely for dancers, and the site makes no reference to Lindy Hop. They are listed here because they are among the best-known jive and swing acts in the country and are regularly mentioned alongside swing dance events elsewhere; organisers should confirm the dance-floor suitability of a given booking directly with the band. YouTube footage is available from the band's own channel.
Dance to live swing
