CalBal Classic 2026 Advanced Balboa
The complete Advanced Classic finals at the California Balboa Classic in 2026. Balboa is a close-embrace swing dance from the 1930s and 1940s, danced to fast tempos with small, precise footwork and an upright frame. Classic divisions give couples a chosen song and choreography, so you can see how they blend pure Balboa with the looser Bal-Swing vocabulary. Watch the lightness of the feet and the way partners move as a single unit. Useful for seeing the modern state of the dance.
