The Lindy Hop section of Hot Chocolate, a 1941 Soundie filmed with Duke Ellington's orchestra, presented here in an AI-upscaled, 60 frames-per-second version. The interpolation smooths movement but can alter the feel, so treat it as a viewing aid. The dancing is fast and rhythmic, with lively swing-outs, jazz steps and quick-fire partner changes. It is a good example of the short musical films shown in jukebox-style machines in the early 1940s.
