About Swing Revolution (Leeds)
Swing Revolution is the annual flagship weekend of the Leeds University Union swing dance society. The 2024 edition ran from the evening of Friday 12 April to Sunday 14 April at Leeds University Union. It was described as a weekend of swing dancing and live jazz, with the Shirt Tail Stompers as the band. A workshop-and-socials option gave eight hours of workshops over Saturday and Sunday daytime plus evening socials with a live band on Friday and Saturday, and required some swing experience. A socials-only ticket let people come for one evening or all of them. After buying a workshop ticket you chose your workshops through a form. It suits students and local swing dancers who already have a little experience and want a university-scene weekend with a live band.

Only the 2024 edition is described on this page, with no price listed. Tickets were sold through a ticketing app, with a workshop ticket deadline at the end of March. Announcements were posted on the event's Facebook page. Check the society's channels for the current edition.
